Empower your teams to easily create multiple subtasks based on custom templates.
No complicated configuration. Install, Ready, Go.
Templates are bound to projects, so all of your teams are able to create their own set of subtask templates.
This enhances the work of different kinds of teams and processes (e.g. Marketing content planning, Release workflow, onboarding of new employees, ...).
The intuitive and user-friendly WYSIWYG interface allows anyone to easily create templates. You don't need any syntax to start working with subtask templates.
Enter a summary and define more details if needed. That's it!
Most of the time, a summary is not enough to improve your workflows when using subtasks to structure your work.
So it's possible to predefine the most important subtask issue fields, e.g. assignee, labels, priority, fixed version and so on.
No matter if you work with team or company managed projects - Easy Subtask Templates works with both, so any team can profit from consistent workflows.
Forge is the newest development framework by Atlassian which makes it easier for developers to build Atlassian Cloud apps.

Okay, creating subtask templates is easy, but it's even easier to create multiple subtasks based on those templates.
Open an issue, choose the matching template from the dropdown and click "Create".
Maybe you have a template which fits - but not perfectly. No problem. In the moment you choose the template for creating subtasks, you can even make some "One time changes" in order to adjust the details of a subtask e.g. the title, description, labels, priority and so on.
Sometimes you want to add some dynamic data to a subtask summary, for example the parent issue key or parent issue summary. You can even add a custom prefix when creating multiple subtasks.
Since subtask templates are connected to a specific Jira project, you can easily import and export them in order to re-use them in other projects.
