Documentation's navigation
The Microblog portal (former: microblog.action) is the place where all microposts, the advanced search and Microblog settings are located.
How to open the Microblog portal
You can navigate to the Microblog portal using the Linchpin header navigation. Click on the compass icon , then click on the Microblog icon. The Microblog portal is also available under: http://<Confluence-URL>/plugins/microblog.action.
If you updated to Microblog 4.0 or higher, some functions moved from the macro timeline sidebar to the Microblog portal.
This includes the settings for "My Spaces & Topics" (currently known as "My stream"), e-mail notifications and the advanced search.
Browse microposts in all spaces and topics
In the left sidebar of the Microblog portal, you will find a directory of all spaces and topics.
You can expand individual spaces. To do so, click on the space name. Now all microposts in this space will load. If you click on a topic now, the site will reload to show you all microposts from this specific topic.
To view microposts from all spaces and of all topics again, click on All posts at the top of the sidebar.
Search for specific microposts
In the left sidebar of the Microblog portal, you will also find a Search button. Click on this Search button to open an advanced search bar. You can search here for text extracts, authors, topics, time frames or hashtags. You can also combine multiple filters. Click on the Reset button to reset all search filters.
Microblog settings
To access the Microblog settings, click on the Settings button in the left sidebar of the Microblog portal.
My stream
Click on the My stream tab to select topics relevant for you. Now, you can select the topics which should be shown in your timeline. You can also select whole spaces. If you select a whole space, all topics of this space will automatically be selected, too. Do you want to completely reorganize your stream quickly? Use the Select all button to select all spaces and topics. Now you can also use the Deselect all button to clear your stream completely.
