In order to use Linchpin Mobile with your Confluence your instance needs to meet the prerequisites listed below:

• Confluence Server or DataCenter (version 5.10.0 or above)
• Valid Confluence license
• Confluence administrator permissions
• System add-on 'Confluence mobile plugin' (Confluence 6.7 or below) / 'Confluence mobile web plugin' (Confluence 6.8 or above) enabled

1. Log into your Confluence instance as an admin.
2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Atlassian Marketplace. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
4. Locate Linchpin Mobile via search. The appropriate app version appears in the search results.
5. Click Try free to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license for Linchpin Mobile. You're prompted to log into MyAtlassian. Linchpin Mobile begins to download.
6. Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.
7. Click Apply license. If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your Confluence instance.

Alternatively you can download Linchpin Mobile from the Atlassian Marketplace yourself and install it manually.

If your Confluence is located behind a firewall and thus only accessibly from internal network or via VPN you might want to consider setting up the Linchpin Mobile Gateway with your Confluence instance to provide easy and secure access to all users.
