Seibert Media is always interested in collaborating with skilled and committed individuals who would like to enhance our team and advance both themselves and our company. Although the job market is competitive and highly qualified professionals are scarce, we don't seek out risky endeavors or make unrealistic promises. Instead, we search for capable and personable individuals and provide a welcoming atmosphere, collegiality, and fair compensation.

Here is an overview of our recruitment process:

Your Application

Application Options:

If you're interested in joining Seibert Media, there are two ways to apply: you can either fill out our application form or send us a video of yourself. In addition to providing your email and phone contact information, your application should include standard attachments such as your resume and proof of qualifications. While a cover letter is acceptable, it's also fine to skip it and devote more time to completing our application form or making a video; the choice is yours.

If you'd like to use the form, go ahead! We've considered what information we need to know about applicants in order to assess their applications at a glance. So please take your time, peruse the questions at your leisure, and respond truthfully. We want to get to know you as you are, which is why some of the questions may be unexpected.

Feeling a bit daring? Why not try sending us a video! You can either speak off the cuff or use our questions from the application form as prompts. It can be a simple cell phone video or, if you're comfortable and proficient, a more professional one.

Of course, you're welcome to do both and include or link to a video in the completed form. However, making a video is optional and won't negatively impact your chances in the application process if you choose not to do it.

By the way, we trust that you know the value of your work and can accurately evaluate your skills. That's why we require that you indicate your salary expectations as part of your application.

Rest assured that we'll keep your details confidential and only take note of data that could be relevant if you actively disclose it. Knowledge of such data won't affect the processing or the success of your application.

How does the application process work?

Once you have completed our application form, we will receive your application and send you a confirmation as soon as possible. If your application catches our attention, we will invite you to an introductory interview as the first step. All our interviews are conducted via Google Meet, and we will send you a link via email that you can click on to participate in the interview.

The interview will take place with one or two other people, where we aim to get to know you in a relaxed environment and have a conversation with you. During the interview, we may clarify some initial questions that we have regarding your application. Sometimes people who have nothing to do with the job you have applied for may also participate in the interview. However, this is because we carefully review your application, and we may believe that another area is a better fit for you and your qualifications.

We may ask if we can record the interview, but it is entirely up to you if you agree to this. We value open and honest communication from the start, and we understand if you are uncomfortable with this. If we are permitted to record the interview, we only store it as long as necessary and delete it at the latest when the application process is completed. You may also ask us to delete the recording at any time or let us know before the interview that you do not want us to make a recording.

If both sides want to proceed, then another interview takes place.

Generally, job interviews with us probably run differently than in other companies. Sometimes they are perceived as a bit chaotic, because our goal is for new employees to really fit in with us. Therefore, we don't want to leave the assessment of candidates to an HR boss or department head (which doesn't exist in our company), but rather select new colleagues together with as many employees as possible. Personal acquaintance and clarifying professional strengths and weaknesses are most important to us. Specifically, this means that job interviews are open to all employees and anyone who wants to can participate. But don't panic! You won't be facing 30 people bombarding you with questions. It's important to us that you feel comfortable and don't get too stressed out

Wer schaut sich deine Bewerbung an

Annalena, Marina, Flavia, Kim, Manuel and Silke review all applications received by Seibert Media and handle the processing. Additionally, all employees have the opportunity to participate in the assessment of applicants, communicate with them from the beginning, and contribute to decisions that impact their team.

After the application

Onboarding

Once the application process has been successfully completed, we are pleased to inform you that you are now a part of our team!

On your first day, you will spend your time with your team and your pilot. The day begins with a Meet & Greet session. Fun fact: it used to be called Cake & Greet because all new employees bring a cake with them on their first day and share it together. This will earn you 3 stars in your flight plan! During this session, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and meet your team. After that, we will have our kickoff session where we will introduce you to all of our systems, show you how to book your working hours, how we communicate internally, and answer any questions you may have.

Communication via Email

We use Jira to streamline our application process and communicate with you efficiently via email. Therefore, you can expect to receive frequent emails from us and we would be delighted if you could respond promptly. It's just like getting to know each other through email.

Communication via Google Meet

We prefer to schedule a Google Meet since it provides an even better opportunity to get to know each other. Typically, we will arrange an appointment with you or suggest the best times to contact our representatives.

The Electronic Skills Assessment Test

A electronic skills assessment test may be required for certain positions that you have applied for. Please consider this test as an additional means to evaluate your professional competence and determine how well you can fit into the Seibert Media team. It is important to note that this test is separate from the mandatory job interview, which will still be conducted regardless of the results of the test.

The Interview

At some point, it will be necessary for us to have a face-to-face interview with you. During this interview, we will communicate with each other openly and honestly. To ensure that the interview is successful, we will prepare for it, and we expect you to do the same. If you want to reinforce the positive impression made by your application, it is advisable to have well-thought-out answers to the following questions:

  • How can you contribute to Seibert Media?

  • What are your expectations of our partnership?

  • What are your goals for the next three to five years?

If you can provide meaningful answers to these questions without resorting to clichés, it will leave a lasting impression. Also, for us, an interview is a conversation, not just a one-sided interrogation. Do you have any questions on the subject? What interests you? We are curious to know. And lastly, do you know why Seibert Media is interesting to you? We will want to find out.

After the interview, we will consult our team and inform you whether you are a good fit for us or not.

Working at Seibert Media

means...

... combining enthusiasm and professionalism.
... achieving goals together without blinders and prejudices.
... being rewarded for performance and dedication, not negotiation skills.
... finding freedom and optimal conditions to unfold your own talents.
... working in a great team and being able to grow with the company.

Our Job Offer and Hiring Process

In order to classify your position as fairly as possible, we compare your skills with those of colleagues who have similar job responsibilities and create a job offer for you. You will review our offer carefully, compare it with your personal goals and expectations, and provide us with feedback. If everything aligns perfectly, you may hear the exciting news:

Welcome to our team, where we value ambition, creativity, and character. Welcome to Seibert Media.

Onboarding

As a newcomer, you will be paired with an experienced colleague who will act as your pilot during the probationary period. This person will guide you through the process like a twin star and answer any questions you may have. Additionally, we have a system of active neighborly assistance in place, where every colleague is available to help and support you in quickly getting up to speed.
