- It was possible for internal users to publish a profile macro containing non-public data in an extranet space. This has been fixed.
- When an LDAP configuration changed, there was a chance that Extranet users lost their permissions. This has been fixed.
- We fixed a bug that allowed Extranet users seeing other users via their contact list, although they shouldn't have been able to.
- When creating news using the button in the News Hub, personal spaces were offered for Extranet users that shouldn't be able to see them.

3.1.1
Security release
Security
- We addressed a potential security issue in Space Privacy which allowed to bypass filters and display basic profile information of all registered users. For more information, please read the knowledge base article on this issue.
3.0
The Data Center release.
We are happy to introduce the final Data Center version to you. The official DC approval might come soon with the version 3.0.1.
New features
- We added a new setting to provide full Confluence access to internal users. If set, they can see all other users and use Confluence with all its functions (including Linchpin functionalities such as Org Charts or the Network Tab).
- We also added support for nested Confluence groups.
Please note: make sure you run the activation sync task only if you have a Lucene search index! If you remove it manually and rebuild it from scratch, unset the checkbox here.
This issue has been fixed with the latest patch. Therefore we highly recommend to update version 3.0.5!
Please note: With version 3.0 we have made a considerable number of improvements in handling large amounts of data (users, user roles, spaces). To ensure a complete and synchronous listing of users, spaces and roles, all users of the instance must be reindexed after installation or update to Space Privacy 3.0.
Please use the message displayed in your Confluence admin area after the installation to start the synchronization process. Alternatively, you can also start the much more comprehensive Full Index via the Confluence Administration.
This process may affect the system performance for several hours (depending for example on the number of (extranet) spaces, users and the available performance). For this reason, we strongly recommend to perform the re-indexing at a time when the load on the system is expected to be low (e.g. on weekends or late in the afternoon/evening).
Patch release We added a link to the manual user-synchronization task. We made the extranet user list available while indexing. We prevented a potential loss of user assignments within the Activation Task when the search index was missing. We added support for extended restrictions on instances with context path. Compatibility release We are happy to announce compatibility with the Microblog 6.0 and Linchpin Suite 4.0 Please note: make sure you only run the Activation Sync task if you have a Lucene search index! If you remove the index manually and rebuild it from scratch, unset the checkbox as described here. Once we have received the official DC approval, we will release a 2.7 version with the required flags.
If you are already using a server license in your data center environment, please contact us at https://seibert.biz/help so we can answer your licensing questions.
Please note: With version 2.7 we have made a considerable number of improvements in handling large amounts of data (users, user roles, spaces). To ensure a complete and synchronous listing of users, spaces and roles, all users of the instance must be reindexed after installation or update to Space Privacy 2.7.
