Problem
The issue was discovered by Amirmuhammad Vakili via the Atlassian bug bounty program. The researcher could identify that an attacker could potentially inject executable Javascript code within some profile fields in the user profile.
Affected are the apps Linchpin User Profiles up to and including version 3.1.4, Linchpin Intranet Suite up to and including version 5.1.2 and Linchpin Essentials up to and including version 2.1.2.

Solution
For Linchpin User Profiles customers: Update to Linchpin User Profiles version 3.1.5 or later.
For Linchpin Essentials customers: Update to Linchpin Essentials 2.1.3 or later.
For Linchpin Suite customers: Update to Linchpin Suite 5.1.3 or later.
