When you begin using Confluence, user workshops are a useful tool, to train a large number of employees and to quickly create an understanding for the use of the tool. With time, and due to fluctuation and expansion, you will win employees that will need to be trained in Confluence. As long as you have a reasonable amount of new employees, a user workshop will continue to be useful. If however, you need to train individual people, it is helpful to have a wiki specialist in house, who can take over the training internally.
