Evaluate Linchpin Mobile by using your own system
1. Confluence Server or Data Center instance
The most important prerequisite for installing the Linchpin Mobile App is an active Confluence Server or Data Center instance.

Linchpin Mobile supports most common MDM systems (e.g. MobileIcon, VMware AirWatch). Please do not hesitate to contact us!
4. Register within your Confluence instance
Once have installed the app on your mobile device, open it and add the login information for your Confluence instance. To do this, follow the steps you will see in the app and enter the following login data:
- Protocol: Select whether you use HTTP or HTTPS to access your Confluence instance.
Server address: The URL of your Confluence system
Important: The protocol (e.g. http://) should not be included here!- Username: The login name of the Confluence user that you want to log in as.
- Password: The password for the selected Confluence user.
- Title: Enter an optional name for the instance to help you recognize it in the system list.
