You have already familiarized yourself with the basic features of Confluence and are currently preparing the pilot for your company? You are in charge of introducing the tool? Then it is important that you can also take over the administration of Confluence and act as a competent contact person. The workshop is especially interesting for the following persons:
- Wiki gardeners and people responsible for the content maintenance of the wiki and who need to know how to handle extensions to cover additional use cases, create users and manage groups, plan and manage updates, configure email notifications etc.
- Works council members who want to ensure that data protection regulations are adhered to and that the wiki is used as a productive tool, but not for monitoring employees. We show you how to configure permissions and evaluation modules accordingly.
What is included in a professional consultation?
We will conduct a training with you that deals with the administration of Confluence within the administration interface. We inform you about important resources for the administration of the system. We go into the license model and extensions as well as recommendations for update cycles, we deal with the creation of users:inside and groups as well as the extensive assignment of rights. Further topics are recommendations for updates, backups and testing as well as for the correction of frequent errors and problems.
