NEW IN SUITE 6.2 Linchpin Suite is compatible with Confluence's Dark Mode. Yay!

General Information

Confluence can be activated globally for anonymous access or only on a space basis.

In the global settings, a distinction can be made between “can use” and “view user profiles” privilege for anonymous access.

In order to make a space public, the admin must first turn on the global permission for anonymous access. This permission doesn't automatically grant anonymous users permission to see any of the spaces on your site, that is done on a space by space basis.

For more information check out the documentations about setting up public access and making a space public.

Anonymous users can only view events when they have access to your Confluence. These events need to be located in a space which is also accessible for anonymous users. Find out more here and here.

No, unfortunately this can't be set.

However, Linchpin Events offer the option of deliberately creating content for anonymous users.

No, unfortunately not.

There is currently no option for anonymous users to be automatically redirected to the login page for users when they call up the Confluence (Linchpin) dashboard.

If you grant anonymous users access to an extranet space, this does not give these users access rights to the extranet users.
