Rules to restricting visibility

The visibility of profile fields can be restricted to certain user groups.

You can't restrict the visibility of profile fields to a single user.

How to restrict the visibility of profile fields

Navigate to Confluence administration → Linchpin → User Profiles → Profile Editor.

Select the profile field you would like to restrict in visibility.

In the options, activate the Restricted visibility slider. It should turn green when it's activated.

Then, enter one or more group(s) that should have exclusive viewing rights for this profile field.

If a user is not part of the group(s) defined here, they won't see this profile field nor its content in the profile of any user (except in their own profile).
