A CSV export is when you save data from a software application, database, or system into a CSV file. These files are great for analyzing data in a spreadsheet.
How do I export a CSV file in Linchpin?
NEW IN SUITE 5.10
To export an CSV-file from an event, click on the three-dot menu and choose "Download participant list (CSV export). In the new dialogue you can now select the profile fields to be included in the CSV export. The categories and fields that are offered are the fields and categories that the current user may also see in the profile of others.Name and e-mail are always included automatically.
If you export, the configuration is saved and the same fields are checked the next time.
If no field is selected then only email and name is exported.
Important: If the Linchpin User Profiles is not installed or is deactivated, the CSV export works as before.
You can either check the boxes next to headings "Individual Information", "Location", "Expertise" or "Contact" and therefore check all the boxes underneath it to export all the information of the column.
Or you can individually check the boxes next to specific fields of information, allowing you to selectively choose only the precise details you want to export in your CSV file, tailoring the output.
