As the importance of mobile intranet access is increasing, Linchpin Mobile provides users with an optimized mobile version for essential Linchpin and Confluence features as a native app for iOS and Android.

Linchpin Mobile focuses on making it easy for users to find and consume information rather than creating, but also lets users comment to participate and collaborate via their mobile device.

General

The mobile view provides access to the basic Confluence and Linchpin features but is restricted due to technical limitations (e.g. the Microblog timeline is not available). A VPN tunnel is required on the mobile device to access a Confluence or Linchpin instance running behind a firewall.

Linchpin Mobile offers optimized mobile versions of the most important Linchpin apps and allows users to access a wide variety of content. It also provides an easy and secure login mechanism that can be extended by using the Linchpin Mobile Gateway to easily access behind-the-firewall instances without the need for a VPN tunnel.
